Djezzy and BortoCall launch Confy videoconferencing app

Mobile operator Djezzy and Algerian startup BortoCall have launched Confy, a locally developed videoconferencing solution designed for businesses and institutions. Offered as Software as a Service (SaaS), the application supports up to 300 participants and includes professional features such as screen sharing, collaborative annotation, and meeting recording.

The solution emphasizes data sovereignty and security, utilizing end-to-end encryption. All data and traffic are hosted and processed within Algeria on Djezzy’s sovereign cloud infrastructure to ensure privacy and regulatory compliance. This launch follows the recent introduction of Relay, a professional messaging and collaboration tool, as part of an effort to expand local technological solutions.
