DJI and Antigravity release new consumer drones

New developments in consumer drone technology feature specialized hardware from DJI and Antigravity.

The DJI Air 3 is designed for pilots seeking a balance between portability and professional capability. Weighing approximately 720 grams, the device features a dual-camera system and an advertised flight time of up to 46 minutes. It includes omnidirectional obstacle detection and supports 4K video and vertical formats.

Developed in collaboration with Insta360, the Antigravity A1 focuses on 360-degree cinematography. The drone utilizes two ultra-wide-angle lenses to capture 8K video at 30 fps, allowing users to select camera angles after landing. The A1 weighs less than 250 grams with its standard battery and features a unique control system using gesture controllers and immersive goggles rather than traditional joysticks.
