DJI and Hasselblad to open first concept store in Tokyo Omotesando
Sekido Co., Ltd., the authorized distributor for DJI in Japan, will open the first DJI | Hasselblad Authorized Concept Store in Omotesando, Tokyo, on October 31, 2026. The two-story facility is designed to serve as both a retail space and a community hub for creators.
The first floor will feature a DJI Area, showcasing drones such as the Mavic, Air, and Mini series, alongside Osmo gimbal and action cameras. The floor will include a permanent indoor drone flight cage, allowing customers to test flight performance and camera responsiveness regardless of weather or local flight regulations.
The second floor will host the Hasselblad Area, focusing on medium format digital camera systems, including the X2D II 100C and 907X series. This level will include a gallery displaying Hasselblad photography, a lounge, and consulting booths for personalized equipment selection.
To support a global clientele, professional staff will provide one-on-one consultations in Japanese, English, and Chinese. The store also plans to host regular workshops, drone seminars, and new product demonstrations led by professional photographers and videographers.
