DJI cuts prices on Neo and Mini 4K drones, hitting record lows
DJI has lowered the price of its Neo drone to US$139, down from US$199, offering a 4K UHD camera, a 1/2‑inch sensor, electronic stabilization and a lightweight 135‑gram design that avoids FAA registration requirements. The Neo includes palm‑takeoff, built‑in propeller guards, GPS and vision‑based hover, making it a beginner‑friendly, portable option for aerial selfies and simple landscape shots.
Separately, the DJI Mini 4K is being sold for US$209 on Amazon, a US$90 discount from its regular US$299 price and the lowest price recorded after Prime Day. The Mini 4K provides a true 4K camera on a mechanical three‑axis gimbal, QuickShots for automated cinematic movements, GPS return‑to‑home and a compact form factor suitable for travel and professional use. Both drones are positioned as affordable, easy‑to‑fly solutions for content creators and hobbyists.
