DJI expands Power 2000 into home solar storage and portable markets

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, DJI introduced a new application for its Power 2000 power station, positioning it as a grid-tied home battery system. The company unveiled a balcony solar kit that bundles the 2,048 Wh station with DJI-branded solar panels and a microinverter. This system is designed to plug into a standard Schuko wall socket, allowing it to store excess energy from photovoltaic modules for household use.

The rollout of this grid-tied kit is starting in Germany and is compatible with several European countries, though it is not available in the United States. DJI estimates the system could provide approximately €680 in annual electricity savings.

Separately, the DJI Power 2000 portable power station is seeing significant discounts in the United States. On Amazon, the unit has been listed for $759.99, a 41% reduction from its standard $1,299.99 price. The portable unit features a 2,048 Wh capacity and can be expanded with up to ten expansion batteries to reach 22,000 Wh.
