DJI launches $25,000 video contest for Avata 360 drone

DJI has launched the ‘All For Passion Challenge,’ a creator competition designed to showcase the capabilities of its Avata 360, an 8K 360-degree FPV drone. The contest features a total prize pool of $25,000, including a $10,000 grand prize, two $5,000 runner-up prizes, and five $1,000 third-place awards.

Participants are required to film sports or action footage using the Avata 360, apply the official ‘DJI AVATA 360 | ALL FOR PASSION’ watermark, and publish the content to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok using the hashtags #allforpassion, #djiavata, and #avata360. Submissions must be sent via email to DJI with the post link, platform, and publication date.

Eligible activities include a wide range of fast-moving sports such as mountain biking, surfing, skiing, climbing, football, and swimming. The challenge is open for entries through September 30, with winners scheduled to be announced on October 28. The Avata 360 is noted for its ability to record full 360-degree footage, allowing creators to reframe shots after filming.
