DJI unveils Osmo 360 II camera and ROMO 2 robot vacuums
DJI has announced several new consumer products, headlined by the Osmo 360 II flagship 360-degree action camera and the ROMO 2 series of robot vacuum cleaners, showcased at IFA 2026 in Berlin.
The Osmo 360 II features a 1-inch square HDR image sensor capable of 8K/60fps video recording. It offers a dynamic range of 14.5 stops and utilizes the AI SuperNight 2.0 algorithm for enhanced low-light performance. The camera includes 105GB of internal storage, weighs 183g, and features user-replaceable, ultra-hard lenses to improve durability. Creative modes include 16K timelapses, 120MP HDR photos, and advanced slow-motion capabilities.
In the home automation sector, DJI introduced the ROMO 2 robot vacuum line. These devices leverage navigation technology derived from DJI's drone expertise, utilizing LiDAR and AI for precise obstacle detection. The ROMO 2 models emphasize privacy with a local data mode that allows users to disconnect from the internet and disable microphones and cameras. The series includes models like the P2 and A2, featuring high suction power and articulated arms for improved cleaning reach.
