DJI Neo 3 drone leaks reveal new design and controller

Leaked retail packaging for the upcoming DJI Neo 3 drone suggests significant design and hardware updates for the compact device. Images shared by leaker Igor Bogdanov reveal a redesigned drone featuring a hub-and-spoke propeller guard system, additional ventilation slots, and a sensor dome on top of the fuselage, likely intended for enhanced obstacle detection.

The leaked Fly More Combo also includes a new DJI RC Mini controller. Unlike current Neo models that require a smartphone for live video, this controller features its own built-in color screen. This shift aims to provide a more autonomous flying experience. An FCC grant for a controller under this name was previously issued, further supporting the legitimacy of the leak.
