DJI unveils Osmo 360 II and showcases Osmo Pocket 4P in film
DJI is expanding its creative hardware lineup with the introduction of the Osmo 360 II and the professional application of the Osmo Pocket 4P.
The Osmo 360 II features dual 1/1.1-inch square CMOS sensors, enabling native 8K/60fps video recording and a 14.5-stop dynamic range. Designed for travel, Vlogging, and action sports, the device includes AI-powered stitching to minimize visible seams in close-up shots, 4K/240fps slow-motion capabilities, and an improved AI Super Night mode for low-light environments. The camera is waterproof up to 10 meters and features replaceable lenses for increased durability.
In the realm of professional filmmaking, DJI hosted the ‘Filmmakers & Visionaries Session’ during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The session showcased how the Osmo Pocket 4P can be used for high-level storytelling. Creative projects filmed entirely with the Osmo Pocket 4P included ‘FAMILIARITÉ’, starring Isabelle Huppert, and the road movie ‘The Uncertain Existence of Her’ by Japanese cinematographer Kinya Takimoto. Industry professionals evaluated these works, noting that the compact technology meets rigorous professional standards for visual storytelling.
