DJI unveils Osmo 360 II camera at IFA Berlin

DJI has unveiled the Osmo 360 II, a next-generation 360-degree camera, at the IFA trade show in Berlin. The new device offers significant technical upgrades over its predecessor, most notably increasing video resolution from 6K to 8K at 60fps in HDR.

The camera features dual 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors designed to capture high-quality imagery in low-light conditions, supported by the AI SuperNight 2.0 feature. It is capable of producing 120-megapixel panoramic photos and includes 105 GB of usable internal storage alongside microSD support.

Key functional improvements include the ability to reframe 360-degree footage into traditional flat video formats, a Spotlight Follow feature for automatic subject tracking, and replaceable lenses to address front-lens damage. The device is intended to streamline content creation by allowing users to capture entire environments and decide on specific perspectives during the editing process.
