DJI unveils Osmo Pocket 4P dual‑camera gimbal, expands portable video lineup

DJI officially launched the Osmo Pocket 4P, a compact gimbal camera with a dual‑lens system unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival. The device pairs a 1‑inch f/2.0 main sensor with a 1/1.28‑inch telephoto sensor (f/1.8) that provides 3× optical zoom and up to 12× digital zoom. It records 4K video at 60 fps, supports slow‑motion up to 240 fps, captures 37 MP stills, and adds 10‑bit video, D‑Log2 colour profile and subject tracking. Usability features include a 2‑inch rotating touchscreen, three microphones, 103 GB internal storage (expandable to 1 TB via microSD) and a 1,545 mAh battery.

The standard kit is priced at CNY 3,799 (≈US$560) and the Vlog kit at CNY 4,299 (≈US$640), with pre‑orders opening in China. In the Philippines only the earlier Osmo Pocket 4 is available, starting at ₱28,990, while broader availability of the 4P is expected after the global rollout. A separate Japanese report noted a fan’s gift of multiple DJI items—including an Osmo Pocket 4 combo and related accessories—highlighting consumer enthusiasm for the brand in Japan.
