DJI Osmo Pocket 4P launches with dual cameras and 17‑stop dynamic range

DJI has introduced the Osmo Pocket 4P, a pocket‑sized gimbal camera that adds a dual‑camera system. The primary lens uses a 1‑inch 24 mm‑equivalent sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, while a secondary telephoto lens offers a 60 mm‑equivalent focal length at f/2.2, enabling 3× optical zoom without digital degradation. The camera supports 4K video up to 60 fps, 4K slow‑motion up to 240 fps, and 10‑bit D‑Log2 colour profiles. DJI claims the new sensor delivers 17 stops of dynamic range, a figure that would surpass most consumer‑level cameras.

Key features also include AI‑driven ActiveTrack 8.0, a rotatable 2‑inch OLED touchscreen, up to 210 minutes of continuous recording, and fast 65 W PD charging that reaches 80 % in about 18 minutes. The device is offered in black and, for the first time, white. Pricing and exact release dates for Europe and North America have not been disclosed, though the product is already on sale in China and has launched in the Philippines at a starting price of ₱37,790. DJI showcased the camera at a creator‑focused event in Mumbai, India, and provided hands‑on demos in Malta, highlighting its suitability for vloggers, travel creators, and influencers.
