DJI Osmo Pocket 4P launches in Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia on June 29

DJI announced that its new dual‑lens pocket gimbal camera, the Osmo Pocket 4P, will be released on 29 June in Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia. The device adds a 1‑inch wide‑angle sensor and a 1/1.28‑inch telephoto sensor, providing up to 3× optical zoom, 6× loss‑less zoom and 12× digital zoom. It uses DJI’s LOFIC technology for a 17‑stop dynamic range and supports 10‑bit D‑Log 2 colour grading, as well as 4K video at 240 fps for ultra‑slow‑motion capture. Other features include a rotating touchscreen, 103 GB internal storage, a 1,545 mAh battery with fast‑charging (80 % in 18 min), wireless video transmission and compatibility with DJI Mic. The camera will be sold in Classic Black and Pearl White. In Japan the launch is scheduled for 21:00 JST with a large‑vision‑screen advertising campaign in Shinjuku and Namba; Taiwan will see a 20:00 local‑time announcement; Malaysia will receive the product at 20:00 local time, with a price of about CNY 3,799 (≈RM 2,282) for the standard bundle.
