DKE conference to address functional safety and AI regulations

The DKE Functional Safety conference is scheduled for April 13–14, 2027, in Erfurt, Germany. The event will address the evolving landscape of industrial safety, security, and artificial intelligence.

Key regulatory shifts will be discussed, including the implementation of the EU Machinery Regulation in January 2027 and the upcoming requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), which introduces reporting obligations in September 2026 and full manufacturer obligations by the end of 2027. Additionally, the conference will examine the upcoming revision of the IEC 61508 standard and the integration of AI into safety-oriented industrial applications.
