DLA Piper advises banking consortium on 376 million PLN biogas financing

DLA Piper has provided legal advisory services to a consortium including BGK, PKO Bank Polski, and mBank regarding the financing of Galia Green Power. Supported by investor Eiffel Investment Group, the financing totals 376 million PLN.

The funds are designated for the development of biogas and biomethane projects. This includes the acquisition of existing biogas plants as well as the expansion of current portfolios through the construction of new biomethane-producing facilities. This transaction is noted as one of the largest of its kind in the Polish market in recent years, aimed at strengthening national energy security and independence through renewable fuels produced from bio-waste.
