DLF appoints Brian Benjamin Staalkjær as new Group CFO

DLF has appointed Brian Benjamin Staalkjær as its new Group CFO. He is expected to join the executive management of the cooperative seed company no later than October 1, 2026.

Staalkjær joins from Novonesis, where he serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Business Finance. His professional background includes leadership roles at Chr. Hansen, Novo Nordisk, and PwC Denmark. At Novonesis, he played a key role in the financial integration following the merger of Novozymes and Chr. Hansen.

DLF CEO Søren Halbye stated that the appointment is intended to support the company’s continued growth and investments in innovation and plant breeding. Staalkjær succeeds Tom Karlebo, who has served as CFO since 2023.
