The drugstore chain dm has distributed donations to various local projects across Germany as part of its ‘Lust an Zukunft’ (Desire for the Future) initiative. Through a voting process involving both digital platforms and in-store customers, thousands of local projects were selected for support.

In Rohrbach, the Pusteblume kindergartens received 600 euros to fund a specialized songbook project. This resource utilizes pictograms and a web application combining sign language videos to assist children with limited verbal communication. The kindergartens also received donations of children's clothing to distribute to families in need.

In Menden, the Johanniter ‘Kleine Raupe’ outpatient pediatric and youth hospice service won 600 euros. The service provides support to families dealing with life-limiting illnesses, offering assistance to children, parents, and siblings through home visits and community activities.
