DM-Montaža expands production capacity in Brod

The Bosnian exporter DM-Montaža is constructing a new production hall in Brod to expand its manufacturing capabilities. The company, which currently employs approximately 80 workers, specializes in the fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of energy plants, including boilers, pipelines, and pressure equipment.

Owner Mika Zečević stated that the company plans to bring parts of its German operations to Brod for prefabrication before transporting them for assembly. This expansion aligns with the development of a new free zone in the Brod municipality, which covers over 84 hectares near the European Union border. The establishment of this duty-free zone is expected to reduce costs and attract further investment to the region.
