dm ranks as Germany's most popular drugstore in 2026 study

According to the 2026 Kundenmonitor Deutschland study, dm has secured the top position among German drugstores, achieving a historic high in customer satisfaction with a score of 1.75. The Karlsruhe-based company outperformed the industry average of 1.82, excelling in areas such as employee service, product range, organic selection, environmental orientation, and store design. While dm saw improvements in digital offerings like its website and online shop, satisfaction with its mobile app declined compared to the previous year.

Rossmann maintained its second-place position with a score of 1.89, matching its previous record high. Rossmann was noted for its strength in special promotions and its discount-oriented app, narrowing the gap with dm in categories like cosmetics selection and social responsibility. Other retailers included in the rankings were Budnikowsky at 1.96 and Müller at 2.06, with Müller showing its first improvement following a three-year downward trend. The study, conducted by Servicebarometer AG, surveyed over 30,000 individuals, including 3,264 specifically regarding drugstores.
