DMax to premiere second season of ‘Granjas en acción’ livestock series

The DMax channel is set to premiere the second season of ‘Granjas en acción’ on Sunday, September 20, at 21:30. Produced by Warner Bros. ITVP España, the eight-episode series focuses on the daily lives of livestock farmers across rural Spain.

The new season features four specific farming operations located in Zamora, Burgos, Cantabria, and Teruel. In Zamora, the ‘Pastando con lobos’ project highlights how farmers manage sheep flocks while coexisting with the Iberian wolf using trained mastiffs. In Burgos, the ‘Santa Gadea’ farm utilizes technological innovation and a circular economy model to manage 1,500 ecological goats.

Returning projects include cattle farming in the mountains of Cantabria and the breeding of endangered indigenous goat breeds in Teruel. The series aims to showcase the strategic importance of the agri-food sector amidst modern climate, economic, and social challenges.
