Dâmbovița County announces 3 billion euros in projects and investments

Corneliu Ștefan, President of the Dâmbovița County Council, has announced that the county is overseeing approximately 3 billion euros in various projects and investments. Dâmbovița currently ranks first in the South-Muntenia region regarding the value of submitted projects, totaling over 1 billion euros.

Several local municipalities have also achieved top rankings within the region: Târgoviște leads among county residence municipalities with over 86 million euros in non-reimbursable project value; Pucioasa leads among cities with over 73 million euros; and Corbii Mari leads among communes with over 14 million euros.

The 3 billion euro investment portfolio is distributed across several major programs, including the South-Muntenia Regional Program (over 982 million euros), major road infrastructure (over 665 million euros), POIM (534 million euros), and the Anghel Saligny Program (over 280 million euros). Other funding sources include the PNRR, the National Investment Company (CNI), and programs for seismic risk consolidation and safe schools. These funds are designated for roads, water and sewage systems, schools, hospitals, public transport, and energy efficiency.
