Dmitry Medvedev slams Europe over seizure of Western corporate assets

Russian Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has criticized European nations, stating they only understand the ‘language of power’ following concerns over the seizure of Western corporate assets.

A decree issued by President Vladimir Putin mandates the temporary transfer of assets from companies Auchan, Nestlé, and Lemana Pro (formerly Leroy Merlin) to the Russian entity L. E. V. Management. The Kremlin justified this move by classifying these companies as belonging to ‘unfriendly countries.’

France has formally called on Moscow to review the decision. Medvedev responded via Telegram, accusing European countries of engaging in direct warfare against Russia by providing military equipment while simultaneously attempting to protect the profits of major corporations like Nestlé and Auchan.
