Děčín completes Teplická street revitalization project

The city of Děčín has officially taken over the completed revitalization of Teplická street in the Podmokly district. The construction project, carried out by STRABAG, lasted two years with intermittent interruptions and cost approximately 99.7 million CZK excluding VAT.

Phase D of the project included the repair of roads and sidewalks, the installation of new utility networks, upgrades to public lighting, and the addition of new street furniture and trees. The intersection with Ruská street has been modified to become a one-way street flowing from Teplická street downwards.

Following the completion, the contractor worked to resolve defects and unfinished tasks at the city's request. The project includes a five-year warranty. Future works in the area are planned, including repairs to walls near the municipal theater next spring, improvements to the area in front of the main railway station, and the revitalization of Prokopa Holého and Tržní streets.
