Děčín residents select winning participatory budget projects

Residents of Děčín have selected winning projects for the city's participatory budget, ‘Tvoříme Děčín’. The top-voted project, ‘Nature Closer to People – Bažantnice, Kvádrberk and Chmelník’, received 498 votes and aims to renovate public spaces, paths, and benches.

Other winning proposals include ‘Děčín Forests for Movement and Relaxation’, which focuses on forest furniture and cycling paths, and ‘New Adventures in the Fairy Tale Forest’, which seeks to expand recreational areas for children. Each of the top projects has an estimated cost of approximately 750,000 CZK. The city council must still formally approve the projects before funds are distributed according to the voting rankings.
