dnata launches cargo command centre in Dubai

dnata has launched a new Cargo Integrated Command Centre (CICC) in Dubai to centralize and enhance its logistics operations. Located at the Dubai International Airport (DXB) hub, the facility provides a unified view of cargo activities across both DXB and Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International (DWC).

The CICC utilizes an internally developed operational dashboard that refreshes every 10 seconds, providing near real-time data. The system integrates several technologies, including the One Cargo management platform, Appointment and Dock Management (ADM) software, and data from the Calogi community platform. Additionally, autonomous drones are used within warehouses for shipment tracking with over 99% accuracy.

The center oversees a massive operation that, during the 2025-26 financial year, handled more than one million tonnes of cargo, 189,000 flight movements, and 46,000 truck movements. This expansion supports Dubai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its position as a global aviation and logistics hub.
