DNSE links with VNeID to speed securities account opening

Vietnamese securities firm DNSE has integrated its online platform with the national electronic identification system VNeID. Investors can now open a securities trading account using a smartphone with the VNeID app, completing verification in about one minute and eliminating the need for manual NFC scanning of the citizen ID chip.

The connection improves accuracy, security and reduces fraud risk by cross‑checking data directly with the government database. CEO Nguyen Ngoc Linh said the link "significantly simplifies the account‑opening process, enhances user experience and boosts transaction safety." DNSE also offered new‑client promotions, including a VND 150,000 credit, a free 30‑day subscription to its Trading Idea product and a 30‑day margin‑interest waiver. With more than 1.7 million accounts, DNSE is among the market leaders in attracting individual investors, and the VNeID integration reflects a broader digital transformation in Vietnam’s financial sector.
