Gigi Becali addresses Reghecampf's legal dispute with Esperance Tunis

FCSB owner Gigi Becali has addressed reports that Esperance Tunis is seeking approximately 1 million euros in damages from coach Laurențiu Reghecampf following his departure from the Tunisian club. Reghecampf, who recently returned to FCSB, maintains that he terminated his contract with Esperance Tunis by activating a specific clause and that the separation was handled through necessary formalities.

Becali stated that he was unaware of the specific claims made by the Tunisian side and emphasized that his contract with Reghecampf includes a clause stating the coach is personally responsible for any legal disputes or litigation arising from his professional engagements. While Reghecampf claims the termination was amicable, reports from Tunisian media suggest the club is dissatisfied, alleging the contract was terminated unilaterally.

In separate financial news, Becali confirmed that FCSB has paid a 150,000 euro debt to Universitatea Craiova.
