do care! launches absenteeism risk quiz for managers

The company do care! has launched a free online quiz designed to help managers assess the risk of absenteeism and silent overload within their teams. The tool consists of five questions that can be completed in approximately two minutes.

The quiz evaluates leadership daily routines, such as how often workload is discussed and how return-to-work meetings are conducted following sick leave. Rather than providing right or wrong answers, the tool offers an assessment and suggests concrete next steps. For example, managers who focus more on managing absences rather than understanding their underlying causes may receive an evaluation stating that “absenteeism is being managed rather than understood.”

Dr. Anne Katrin Matyssek, founder of do care!, noted that such issues often stem from a lack of time or structure rather than a lack of will. The quiz serves as an entry point, with further options available including a three-minute self-check for leaders and a more comprehensive organizational diagnostic tool.
