Dão Wine Fair opens in Nelas with Prime Minister attendance

The 35th edition of the Dão Wine Fair has opened in Nelas, Portugal, with the official inauguration presided over by Prime Minister Luís Montenegro. The event serves as a significant platform for the region's viticulture, bringing together approximately 40 wine producers and 103 exhibitors.

Beyond showcasing local wines, the fair functions as a professional business space where producers can connect with distributors, sommeliers, and international agents. The program includes various awards, such as the Eng.º Alberto Vilhena Wine Competition and the Eng.º Carlos Raposo sparkling wine competition, alongside cultural performances and regional gastronomy displays.
