Doan Van Hau performs strongly for CAHN against Kashima Antlers

During an AFC Champions League Elite match on October 13, Cong An Ha Noi (CAHN) suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat against the Japanese side Kashima Antlers at Hang Day Stadium. Despite the loss, defender Doan Van Hau drew significant attention for his performance against high-level opposition.

Van Hau demonstrated versatility and physical strength, playing as a center-back alongside Bui Hoang Viet Anh. His ability to compete in aerial duels and one-on-one situations against elite Japanese players has led to discussions regarding his potential recall to the Vietnam national team, provided he maintains his physical fitness.

Following the match, Doan Van Hau was seen sharing an affectionate moment with his wife, Doan Hai My, on the pitch. The couple, who welcomed their first son in May 2024, have remained in the public eye following their wedding in November 2023.
