Doan Van Hau suspended from V. League competition

Defender Doan Van Hau was forced to watch his club, Cong An Ha Noi (CAHN), from the stands during their V. League 2026/2027 match against Thanh Hoa at Hang Day Stadium.

Hau is currently serving a four-match suspension and a 20 million VND fine imposed by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). The disciplinary action follows a violent foul against midfielder Doan Ngoc Tan of The Cong Viettel during the second round of the season.

In the absence of Hau, CAHN faced significant challenges on the pitch. While CAHN managed to take an early lead through a goal by Dinh Bac in the 43rd minute, the match remained highly competitive, involving several VAR interventions.
