Doğanın Kanunu TV Series Filmed in Istanbul and Izmir

The Turkish drama series *Doğanın Kanunu* was shot on location in Istanbul and the Urla district of Izmir. Urban scenes take place in Istanbul, while the farm and surrounding countryside where the character Yaman works are filmed at a farm outside Izmir. The storyline follows idealistic engineer Yaman, who after a tragic accident reencounters Doğa, the daughter of his former boss, five years later. The show’s screenplay was written by Barış Erdoğan and İlker Arslan, with direction by Ali Bilgin and Beste Sultan Kasapoğulları. The cast includes Alperen Duymaz as Yaman and Özge Yağız as Doğa, among others.

The production highlights a contrast between the glossy corporate world of Istanbul’s plazas and the gritty, labor‑intensive environment of the organic farm in Izmir, underscoring the series’ themes of ambition, betrayal, and revenge.
