Dobbies recruits Santas and elves for festive seasonal roles

Garden centre retailer Dobbies is recruiting Santas and elves for its upcoming Christmas events programme at locations including Moreton Park and Edinburgh. The retailer is seeking enthusiastic individuals to participate in seasonal activities such as Santa’s Grotto and Santa’s Breakfast.

Successful applicants will undergo the ‘North Pole Academy’ training programme, which is designed to provide immersive onboarding, skills, and confidence to help staff deliver festive experiences. Victoria Craig, people experience manager at Dobbies, stated that the company is looking to welcome back returning staff as well as new recruits to create magical memories for families.

Preparations for the festive season are scheduled to begin in mid-November, leading up to the official start of the Christmas events programme on November 22.
