Docent miniseries concludes third season with high viewership

The third season of the crime miniseries ‘Docent’ concluded on Czech Television with high viewership. The final episode attracted 1.402 million viewers aged 15 and older, representing a 37.22 percent market share in that demographic. It was the most-watched program of both Sunday evening and the entire day.

Following the success of the third season, which maintained strong audience numbers from its first to third episodes, there are indications that the saga may continue. Creative producer Jiřina Budíková suggested that a fourth season could potentially be produced to conclude the story, though no official order has been announced.

The production featured prominent actors including Ivan Trojan, Ondřej Vetchý, Tereza Ramba, Matěj Hádek, and Marek Taclík. The series also utilized local locations in the Vysočina region, including Brtnice and Třebíč, and featured local residents as extras.
