Dock Sud Port initiates infrastructure development following international mission

The Dock Sud Port is advancing infrastructure projects to enhance operational capacity and competitiveness. Following an international mission under the ‘Dock Sud Global’ program, President Mónica Litza emphasized the need for long-term planning to capitalize on future growth opportunities.

The delegation visited major port complexes in China, including Nansha in Guangzhou and DaChan Bay in Shenzhen, to study expansion, modernization, dredging, and sedimentation management. These insights are considered vital for Dock Sud due to its location within the Río de la Plata system.

In Singapore, the mission observed automation and digitalization advancements at the Pasir Panjang and Tuas terminals. Additionally, the delegation established institutional links in Turkey and signed a Letter of Intent with Guangzhou to establish ‘Friendly Port’ relations, fostering technical and commercial cooperation.
