DocPharma raises $2 million to expand Indian healthcare supply chain

Healthcare supply chain startup DocPharma has secured $2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Equentis. The round included participation from existing investor 100Unicorns, the angel investment network Vinners, and several other strategic angel investors.

DocPharma operates as a backend infrastructure layer for the healthcare sector, providing warehousing, inventory management, and fulfillment services through a network of licensed dark stores. This allows pharmacies, hospitals, health insurers, and wellness brands to offer rapid delivery without building their own logistics networks. The company’s proprietary software, DocPharma One, utilizes an AI-driven and pharmacist-led compliance system to manage products and verify prescriptions.

The startup plans to use the new capital to expand its presence to 50 cities across India and establish 100 new licensed dark stores. Each dark store is capable of holding more than 40,000 SKUs. Currently, DocPharma operates in over 12 cities and reports a fulfillment rate of more than 95% across more than 8 lakh orders.
