Doctor debunks health claims made by Cristina Pedroche
Medical expert Dr. Jesús Sánchez Martos has challenged health claims made by Spanish presenter Cristina Pedroche on the television program ‘Fiesta’.
Addressing Pedroche’s social media promotion of a device called Nasomedro for sinusitis, Dr. Martos stated the tool has “zero percent efficacy” and advised against its use, especially for children. He recommended using a standard syringe with physiological saline for nasal irrigation instead.
Additionally, the doctor addressed Pedroche’s comments regarding her partner, Dabiz Muñoz, consuming her surplus breast milk. While noting it is not harmful, Dr. Martos emphasized that there is no scientific evidence supporting the benefits of breast milk for adults. He suggested that any surplus milk could instead be donated to one of the more than 22 milk banks available for premature infants.
