Doctor Doom's role in Avengers: Doomsday detailed by director

Director Joe Russo has described the character of Victor Von Doom as a formidable threat in the upcoming film ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. Russo noted that the character, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., is a scientific genius and a skilled sorcerer who uses meticulous strategy and tactical advantages to exploit his enemies' vulnerabilities.

In a separate development regarding the film's production, Hasbro revealed a concept design for a ‘Lord Doom’ action figure at New York Comic Con. This specific version of the character, featuring a military-style dress uniform rather than full armor, was an earlier design concept that will not appear in the final film. The collectible figure is scheduled for release on October 14th through various retailers.
