Doctor Erkut Karaca found dead under Düzce viaduct

Dr. Erkut Karaca, an orthopedic and traumatology specialist, was found dead under a viaduct on the Anadolu Highway in Düzce, Turkey. The incident was discovered after citizens noticed his vehicle, a car with license plate 81 EK, parked on the shoulder of the highway.

Emergency services and gendarmerie responded to the scene, where they confirmed Karaca had passed away. His body was transferred to the Düzce University morgue to determine the exact cause of death.

Karaca, who was born in Nazilli in 1974, completed his medical education at Cumhuriyet University and later specialized in orthopedics at Abant İzzet Baysal University. He was working as a specialist at a private hospital in Düzce at the time of his death. Authorities have launched a wide-ranging investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
