The Mois du Doc (Documentary Film Month) will take place throughout November 2026, offering free screenings and discussions across various French regions.
In Ille-et-Vilaine, the association Comptoir du Doc is coordinating a program of 34 documentaries under the national theme “Contre courant.” The event includes screenings in diverse locations such as libraries, schools, and community halls. Notable filmmakers scheduled to participate include Déni Oumar Pistaev, Vincent Boujon, and Jasna Krajinovic. The program will conclude in Rennes at Champs Libres with a weekend dedicated to Colombian cinema on November 28 and 29.
In the Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges territories, the local media library network will host 12 free projections across 11 communes from November 4 to 27. The program covers themes such as the environment, history, music, and citizenship, accompanied by debates and community gatherings.
