Documentary 'Geografia del passaggio' to screen in Fermo

The documentary ‘Geografia del passaggio’, produced by Giacomo Maroni and Laura Rosina, will be screened at the Teatro Comunale in Fermo. The event, organized by Auser ‘Libertà Maggetti’ and the Porto San Giorgio Città Aperta movement, offers free admission.

The film aims to document humanitarian efforts and resistance against inhumanity, specifically highlighting the ‘Piazza del Mondo’ in Trieste. This movement, driven by citizens, provides assistance to migrants on the Balkan route. The screening will include a remote connection to Trieste with Gian Andrea Franchi, co-founder of the Linea d’Ombra Odv association.

Director Giacomo Maroni stated the self-produced project seeks to support solidarity networks and advocate for human dignity within the governing system.
