Documentary “La Terra che cambia” to address climate change in Piemonte

The documentary “La Terra che cambia” (The Changing Land) is scheduled for presentation on August 20 at the Ruscone Valle nursery courtyard in Castagnole delle Lanze. The film, written by James David Spellman and directed by Bruno Murialdo, focuses on the impacts of climate change within the Piemonte region.

Through the perspectives of local workers—including beekeepers, rice farmers, millers, and viticulturists—the documentary illustrates how rising temperatures, prolonged droughts, and extreme weather events affect the local landscape and economy. The project aims to move beyond abstract concepts of global warming by highlighting the tangible challenges faced by those on the front lines of environmental shifts, while ultimately offering a narrative of resilience and hope.
