Documentary on Carlos Bilardo’s Sevilla FC Tenure Begins Production

A new feature documentary about former Argentina coach Carlos Salvador Bilardo’s 1992‑93 spell at Sevilla FC has entered production. The film is being produced by Spanish company Brava Productions and is based on journalist Roberto Arrocha’s book *Bilardo en Sevilla (y más allá)*. Filming is underway in Argentina and in Sevilla, with access granted to the Ramón Sánchez‑Pizjuán stadium and the club’s training facilities. The project has the full support of Bilardo’s family and the Sevilla FC organization, and will feature interviews with former players and staff who witnessed the coach’s controversial methods, including the “¡Los de colorado son nuestros!” episode and the famous “¡Pisalo, pisalo!” outburst. Bilardo, now 88, lives in Argentina and is dealing with a neuro‑degenerative condition called Hakin‑Adams syndrome.
