Documentary on Venezuelan earthquake rescuers to premiere on Amazon Prime

The documentary “Latidos Bajo los Escombros,” directed by Oscar Rivas Gamboa, is scheduled for a global release on Amazon Prime on September 30, 2026. The film documents the efforts of Venezuelan and international rescue workers, firefighters, and volunteers following the earthquakes that struck La Guaira, Venezuela, on June 24.

Before its streaming debut, the production will hold special screenings. A premiere for journalists and guests will take place on September 24 in Caracas at the CinePic theaters in the Sambil La Candelaria shopping center. This will be followed by a screening in Miami for media and members of the Venezuelan community.

The documentary features journalistic investigation by Deivis Ramírez Miranda and includes participation from journalist Eduardo Rodríguez Giolitti. The film aims to reconstruct the critical hours following the seismic events and honor those who worked amidst collapsed structures to find survivors.
