DocuWare launches next-generation document management platform with integrated AI

DocuWare has announced the launch of its next-generation document management and workflow automation platform. Unveiled at the 2026 DocuWorld Partner Conferences, the new system integrates three primary technological advancements: a redesigned web and mobile user experience, an integrated AI assistant named DocuWare Aura, and expanded capabilities for DocuWare IDP.

The platform is designed to be accessible across various devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The redesigned interface follows Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards to ensure ease of use and simplified navigation. The new mobile app will eventually replace existing mobile versions, allowing users to manage tasks and receive push notifications on the go.

Michael Bochmann, Chief Product & Technology Officer, stated that the goal is to prevent critical business information from remaining trapped in archives, instead using AI and automation to turn content into actionable intelligence that supports decision-making and drives processes.
