Dodge Charger introduces electric Daytona and SIXPACK engines

The eighth generation of the Dodge Charger introduces two distinct propulsion paths built on the STLA Large platform: the all-electric Daytona and the internal combustion SIXPACK variants.

The SIXPACK models utilize a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Hurricane inline-six engine. Performance metrics show significant improvements over previous HEMI engines; for example, the R/T SIXPACK produces approximately 414 to 420 HP, while the Scat Pack SIXPACK delivers between 542 and 550 HP. Acceleration for the Scat Pack SIXPACK is reported between 3.9 and 4.1 seconds for 0-100 km/h.

The electric Daytona models feature a 400-volt system with a 100.5 kWh battery pack and dual drive modules. The Daytona Scat Pack is capable of reaching up to 670 HP, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time as low as 3.3 seconds. This electric variant includes a ‘PowerShot’ feature for temporary power boosts and a Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system to simulate engine noise.

Interior and utility features include a 16-inch digital instrument cluster, an augmented reality head-up display, and a cargo capacity of up to 1,064 liters via a ‘hidden hatch’ design.
