Dodge Charger launches in Italy with electric and gasoline variants
Dodge introduced the Charger to the Italian market, offering both electric and conventional gasoline models. The electric Daytona delivers 670 hp and accelerates 0‑96 km/h in 3.3 seconds, while the R/T version provides 536 hp and 0‑96 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Prices start at €66,000, and buyers receive a signed authenticity letter and a welcome kit. Standard equipment includes a 20‑inch wheel package, advanced driver‑assist systems, a digital 16‑inch instrument cluster, 360 ° cameras, wireless charging and a premium Alpine audio system.
Separately, Dodge is rumored to be developing a mid‑size crossover, tentatively labeled GLH. The concept is said to use Stellantis’ STLA Large platform and may draw visual inspiration from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Production is expected to begin around 2027 at the Windsor, Ontario plant, with the name referencing the historic Dodge Omni GLH model.
