Dodge Charger returns to Europe with electric and gasoline models
The Dodge Challenger Team Italia hosted the fifth Dodge Day 2026 at Voghera, drawing more than 200 enthusiasts and 102 vehicles. The event showcased historic models such as a 1971 Challenger R/T, a Hellcat Redeye and a Viper, and included a community donation drive and the delivery of a defibrillator to the local municipality. Organizers highlighted the brand’s upcoming European strategy, noting the imminent return of the Dodge Charger with a multi‑energy lineup.
The new Charger, now available in both fully electric and traditional gasoline (Six‑Pack) versions, retains its iconic muscle‑car silhouette while incorporating modern design cues such as a full‑width LED front strip, “Ring of Fire” rear lights and, on the electric Daytona variant, an aerodynamic R‑Wing. Technical features include an optional rear‑wheel‑drive mode, Line Lock, Launch Control and power outputs up to 670 hp for the electric model. A range of colour options, including a limited‑edition “Purple Haze”, and an interior styled as a driver‑focused cockpit complete the launch package.
