Dodge Charger to Return to Europe with Gasoline and Electric Models
Stellantis announced that the Dodge Charger will be reintroduced to the European market to mark the model’s 60th anniversary. The new generation will be offered in four‑door, all‑wheel‑drive versions with both gasoline and fully electric powertrains.
Two gasoline variants – the R/T (426 hp) and the Scat Pack (558 hp) – and two electric variants – the Daytona R/T (536 hp) and the top‑spec Daytona Scat Pack (679 hp, 100.5 kWh battery, 430 km EPA range) are planned. No official launch date or pricing has been disclosed, though North‑American prices start around $49,995 (≈ €43,000). The move follows weak U.S. sales, with fewer than 2,000 units sold in the first quarter, prompting the brand to seek new demand across the Atlantic.
