Struxness captured the steer‑wrestling crown at the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo in Kansas, posting three runs of 12.6, 13.4 and 12.6 seconds and earning a $9,110 payout. The victory positions him among the top 15 in the PRCA world standings and strengthens his bid to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo.

The five‑day event, held July 29–August 2, featured a total prize pool exceeding $450,000.
